Linda News:  Linda’s first solo CD, “Love is a Curious Thing” is available on iTunes.  The single “Love Is…” was featured on the new 90210 (CW), and reached the top 5 requested songs on KCRW.  Her previous side projects have included playing keys touring and recording with Jane’s Addiction, The Mars Volta (Universal), Lisa Marie Presley (Capitol) and the poptronica band Bitter:Sweet (Quango).  She also produced the debut album for the alt country duo The Shaker Sisters, from which the song “All Night Through” was heard on HBO’s mega hit True Blood.  Also in production is the CD from Quazar, aka Brandon Jay (composer of the hit Netflix show Orange is the New Black). She also frequently collaborates with Joey Peters (of Grant Lee Buffalo) as Lady Stardust, and James Combs as The Plush Interiors. The award-winning video for their song, “Lately I Wonder,” was directed by Michael Klima for Eyestorm Productions.  See the video here.

Laura News:  New for 2018 See Laura in a special appearance with Dan Carlson filmed in the U.K. by the Bouffant Collective here. Also, a song she co-wrote with Paul Andrews , "Is This the Start, Is This the End?" was written in Australia and recorded in Nashville as the Family Fold.

Laura is currently working on several projects in addition to the Twigs.  Recording under the moniker Lars Darvo, this solo project is inspired by her stint living in Australia. Entitled “The Undertow”, this concept CD features haunting melodies and stories of physical and emotional migration to a new world, down under. Guest appearances include Paul Andrews of Australia’s Lazy Susan.

After living in Australia, Laura spent time in NYC playing with baroque popster Dan Carlson and eventually moved to Nashville, where she fit right in with other new “rocker moms”.  She eased right into the music scene and was selected for ASCAP’s pop writers workshop with hit songwriter Daryl Brown (Keith Urban, Faith Hill) right before the birth of her daughter.  Living in music city was a great place to learn how to balance music and motherhood, and her song “Baby Don’t Cry” started requests for a full-length kids CD.

Laura now divides her time between the mountains of the Southeast and Los Angeles where she is enjoying working on new Twig’s music and music supervision for indie films (look for “Morning Commute”, dir. Aaron Vanek). Most recently she has collaborated with Nashville singer Bryan Carter (Pico Vs Island Trees). Check out the ultimate graduation/moving on song, “Temporary Goodbye” here.  She also recently worked with Nashville songwriter extraordinaire Ladd Smith, demos coming soon.  More Info: http://lauragood.wordpress.com
